    The Senior Human Resources Coordinator oversees enterprise recruiting, retention, HRIS, training and development of craft workforce. This position could be located in either our Austin, TX or Houston, TX office. Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.

    • Administration of the craft labor recruitment program including;
      • Research geographic project locations to determine craft availability, current wages and benefits required to be competitive.
      • Review company craft database for craft assignments/relocations to specific projects.
      • Develop advertising and networking plan for project locations including community organizations, social media, job boards, etc.
      • Helps establish and administer referral programs.
      • Works with project sites to organize and execute job fairs, community outreach, seminars and other recruiting activities.
    • Develop/maintain a database of craft labor skills and performance metrics for utilization in staffing future projects.
    • Directs candidates to appropriate project site supervision for interview and skills assessment.
    • Assists project sites in applicant screening, setting up pre-employment and developmental assessments.
    • Assists project sites with new hire orientation and onboarding plans.
    • Ensures developmental assessments are reviewed appropriately, work with the project sites to identify high potentials and establish development and training plans.
    • Performs education, reference, background and employment verification as necessary to support staffing project sites.
    • Provides regular status reports to Vice President and senior management.
    • Fields candidate/employee questions regarding policies and benefits.
    • Manages third party staffing/contract hire agencies.
    • Attend career fairs/industry events to cultivate relationships and increase network.
    • Maintains confidential employee records and personnel files.


    Management Responsibilities

    Trains and oversees project site personnel in general administration of the craft workforce program.


    Leads efforts in creating a craft training program that supports the Company’s goal of growing a high performing craft workforce.



    Additional Duties and Responsibilities

    Supports and adheres to the matrix organizational format.

    Models and reinforces safety as a top priority of the organization.  Always wears a hard hat and other appropriate personal protective equipment in the field.

    Practices the AQM philosophy of continuous improvement.

    Meets schedules and deadlines, adheres to policies and procedures and maintains a good attendance/tardiness record.

    Ensures client satisfaction, both internally and externally, through efficient handling of issues.

    Exercises good interpersonal skills by gladly assisting others to accomplish work of the organization, even it is outside the scope of regular duties.

    Performs other duties as assigned by the manager.


    Education, Experience, and Skills

    Bachelor's degree Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or Human Resources or related field and/or equivalent related experience.  Advanced level computer skills are required.  HRIS and ATS knowledge is preferred.  NCCER certification and bilingual fluency in Spanish is required.
