    Warehouseman will perform daily warehouse activities as directed by the Warehouse Manager such as delivering, receiving, storing, issuing and maintaining equipment, materials and supplies in the warehouse building and yard.


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following; however other duties may be assigned. To perform in this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • Inspect all inbound and outbound freight for damage, proper function, and any safety issue the freight may have.
    • Assist in the loading and unloading of all inbound and outbound freight both manually and utilizing overhead crane, skid steer, fork lift, etc.
    • Fill orders accurately and in a timely manner.
    • Perform daily clean-up of warehouse and assure all areas are neat and organized.
    • Perform continuous live inventory count to help assure all records are kept accurate.
    • Make equipment and material deliveries and pick-ups as requested by warehouse manager.
    • Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations while operating Flintco vehicles.
    • Maintains eligibility to operate Flintco equipment in accordance with Flintco Motor Fleet Policy.
    • Keep daily records of the task that were performed that day.
    • Assist in the maintenance of the facility grounds – weed control, trash removal.
    • Adhere to all safety rules and regulations.
    • Adhere to all warehouse SOP’s.
    • Perform repairs on tools and small equipment.
    • Performs other duties as assigned by the warehouse manager.
    • Pass and maintain Equipment Certifications through Flintco Safety Department
    • Support and adheres to the organizational flow chart
    • Reinforces safety as a top priority of the organization. Always wears a hard hat and other appropriate PPE in the field
    • Practices and strives for continuous improvement.
    • Ensures client satisfaction, both internally and externally, through positive, pleasant, professional and effective handling of issues.
    • Exercises good interpersonal skills by gladly assisting other to accomplish work of the organization, if it is outside the scope of regular duties.
    • Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.


    Technical and Mental Skills

    • Reads, analyzes and interprets simple documents.
    • Adds, subtracts, multiplies and divides whole numbers.
    • Organizes and manages time, duties and activities efficiently.

    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

    • Must have a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.

    While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit and smell. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

    Work Environment

    The office work environment provides a safe and healthy environment, is adequately heated and cooled, is free from exposure and extreme conditions, has appropriate lighting and office furnishings, and is smoke-free and drug-free.

    While performing the duties of this position in the Yard, Warehouse, Maintenance Shop, or project site, the employee is regularly exposed to moving parts; moving machinery; high, precarious places; close tight quarters; the requirement to be raise and lowered several hundred feet in a bucket; the requirement to walk several hundred feet over rough terrain at an 8 to 16 degree slope; the potential for falling rock; fumes or airborne particles; drilling a blasting activities; toxic or caustic chemicals; and outside weather conditions. The employee is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in work environment is generally loud.
