The BIM Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) strategies, policies and procedures at the corporate level. The BIM Manager will be expected to travel as necessary to the area offices as required.
Potential to manage direct reports such as BIM Coordinators.
Manage the implementation of supporting software for BIM. Evaluate and make recommendations on new BIM related software and technologies. Stay informed on best practices for use of Revit Architecture, NavisWorks and construction related technologies including BlueBeam, Prolog, and BIM 360. Stay informed on other BIM related software and how they work with Revit and NavisWorks. The position requires flexibility and a team player who is willing to help out in other areas of the organization. This means that the BIM Manager will be assigned duties that are not listed in the job description.
BS Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 to 7 years of experience in field construction project management and/or estimating or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience with AutoCAD Revit and NavisWorks required.

Position involves minimal exposure to hazards on jobsite and environmental conditions such as extreme cold and heat. Position may require long working hours and some travel by both automobile and airplane.
